Description

Etched glass cruet with an American sterling silver stopper and base. The body of the decanter features floral etched decorations. The base features a gadrooned rim decoration. Inscribed "OIL" "VINEGAR" in ornate period script on the bottle. The base is weighted and reinforced. Made by Sheffield Silver Co. Marked 451.
This attractive cruet jar measures 3" in diameter at the base and 8 1/8" tall.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive addition to any vintage table
