    Description

    My friend has decided to downsize her vintage jewelry collection and has given me several pieces of Bakelite to list.  Leo Baekeland invented Bakelite in 1907.  Phenolic resin.  Genuine Bakelite does not change or melt under heat.  This bangle was run through the hot water test. Smooth, stock shape bangle is a deep yellow or butterscotch with flecks of white or gray. Square cut exterior.    Polished outside and in.  Measures 1/2" wide.  Small inside diameter is 2-1/2" and outside diameter is 3".  Not for big hands.  Beautiful color and finish.  NOT molded.  No metal.  I will be listing more and I do combine shipping.  Was in a clean and dry, non-smoking environment.  I use recycled packing.  EXCELLENT condition.
