Vintage 3/4" Purple to Black Bakelite Bracelet! Lovely Flowered Wreath Carvings!

Description

This beautiful Bakelite bracelet is 3/4" wide and weighs 22 grams. It has the normal inside diameter of 2.5" The bracelet was originally a purple/eggplant color, but over the years its patina has darkened to its current black color. If you look at the pictures taken with a flash (photos # 2 & 4) you can see the original purple color. However, under normal light, the bracelet looks black.
The bracelet has been decorated with what looks like repeating flower designs that are closely spaced together and cover the outside of the bracelet. The carvings were beautifully executed and no chips to the edges of the carvings were seen.
This Vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were noted.
