    Description

    This beautiful Bakelite bracelet is 3/4" wide and weighs 26 grams. It has the normal inside diameter of 2.5" It looks like the bracelet was originally an emerald green color which can be seen when the bracelet is held against a strong bright light. (See photo #2)
    Over the years its patina has darkened to its current black color. If you look at the pictures taken indoor and outdoors under normal light, the bracelet looks black.
    The bracelet has been decorated with three abstract flower carvings that are equally spaced around the outside of the bracelet. Between each flower carving are wide "X" carvings which frame two small elliptical carvings.  The carvings were beautifully executed and no chips to the edges of the carvings were seen.
    This Vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were noted.
