Vintage 1/4" True Black Bakelite Bracelet! Cool 1950's Asymmetrical Shape!!

This beautiful true black Bakelite bracelet is 1/4" wide with a cool asymmetrical shape right out of that 1950's design age! The bracelet
weighs 18 grams and has the normal inside diameter of 2.5".
This Vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent condition and its
authenticity was confirmed
using the hot water test. Testing for Bakelite using Simichrome polish on true black Bakelite often yields inconclusive results. (See photo #10)
When that occurs, I resort to the default hot water test. After dipping the bracelet into hot water for a couple of seconds, the bracelet gave off the unmistakable chemical odor associated with genuine Bakelite.  No chips or cracks were noted.
