    Description

    This gorgeous Bakelite bangle is a deep bittersweet chocolate hue. It is beautifully carved and pierced with a leaf design. The bangle measures 15/16" wide, with 1/8" thick walls and a standard 2 1/2" opening.
    Condition is excellent with no major issues to note. On the inside there are a couple of chips around the pierced areas that appear to be from the carving process and not damage. These are not visible from the outside. The Bakelite tests positive with Simichrome.
    All Bakelite has a risk of damage in colder weather, but pierced bangles like this one are especially prone to hairline cracks and breaks if exposed to extremes in temperature. You'll want to save this beauty to wear for the warmer months of the year.
